The capsules act as an effective barrier to ants and other predators which would otherwise feed on the parasitised moth eggs. Introduction Rates
Introduce one unit (6x50) every 2 weeks for 4 introductions to treat up to 5000m2. Introduce one unit (6x100) every 2 weeks for 4 introductions to treat up to 10,000m2. Lower rates can be used for prophylactic treatments. Conditions

Trichogramma spp are tiny wasps less than 0.5mm long. Adult females lay their eggs into the moth eggs. These hatch and the larvae feed on the developing caterpillar within the egg. The egg turns black as the parasite develops. The life cycle takes 7-20 days depending on temperature.
