Contains Eretmocerus eremicus as parasitized whitefly pupae. Unti: 5000 or 1000 pupae minimum per strip. Each strip separates to give 10 sections each of 100 pupae. Target Pest Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and also Glasshouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum). Instructions

Introduction Rates Can be used preventatively at a rate of 0.5-1 per m2 every 1-2 weeks. When whiteflies are present increase the rate to 2-3 per m2 weekly, for 4 introductions or until parasitism is sufficient. If preventative and light infestation introduction rates have been used then heavy pest infestations are less likely, but if they do occur the rate can be increased to 10 per m2, again for 4 introductions. Technical Information Adult females are lemon-yellow, whilst males are brownish-yellow. Female wasps are very mobile and prefer to lay single eggs beneath second or third instar larvae of whitefly. The parasitised pupae turn yellow. Adults also feed on whitefly scales It is recommended that Eretmocerus is used in combination with Encarsia.
