Storage » Use on day of receipt. Technical Information Aphidius ervi is a small parasitic wasp (4mm long) which lays its eggs into aphids. The aphids continue to feed and develop while the wasp larva feeds internally. Eventually the larva will kill the aphid and pupate within it, giving the characteristic brown mummy appearance. Mummies appear in the crop about two weeks after the first introduction. It is more effective than Aphidius colemani against larger species of aphids such as Macrosiphium euphorbiae.
