Contains AMBSURE (cv) Amblyseius cucumeris. All stages mixed in vermiculite with all stages of prey mites and bran. Unit: 25,000 in 1 litre sprinkler pack. Target Pest Thrips species including onion thrips (Thrips tabaci) western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis). Will also feed on other mites (Tarsonemids) and pollen. Instructions

Introduction Rates As a guide, introduce 50 per m2 every 1-2 weeks before thrips are detected. The predator will only attack young thrips stages therefore regular and early introductions are very important. Amblyseius should be present in the crop before the first thrips attack.
Conditions Amblyseius cucumeris work best where relative humidity exceeds 70% for periods of the day and temperatures are above 18°C. Storage » Use preferably on the day of receipt or within 2 days if tube stored on its side in darkness at 18°C and 85% relative humidity. Technical Information This active predatory mite is pinky brown and pear shaped, with adults about 0.5mm in length. Eggs are white and generally laid amongst hairs alongside leaf veins.
